A 24-year-old Lehigh Acres man was arrested on Friday after losing control of his motorcycle, crashing and then trying to flee. Troopers say Brayan Manuel Fernandez Fernandez was traveling eastbound on Lee Boulevard at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle slid for about 100 feet before it caught fire. The crash happened near Lee Street. Fernandez fled but was caught about 50 feet away from the crash. He faces charges of fleeing and eluding, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
