Fort Myers Beach pier (Credit: WINK News) The Fort Myers Beach Fishing Pier has reopened early Friday morning. The pier at Lynn Hall Memorial Park, 950 Estero Blvd., reopened to the public at dawn after its closure since mid-August for maintenance to resurface the concrete deck, which is done every 10 to 15 years. The work is funded through the Tourist Development Tax, which is assessed on short-term lodging.
