Naples Zoo plans Collier County Resident Appreciation Days

Published: Updated:

The Naples Zoo is planning two appreciation days this month for Collier County residents.

The zoo will welcome Collier County residents and treat them to free admission on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11.

Each adult must provide proof of residence at admissions.

Under normal circumstances, Naples Zoo offers all Collier County residents free admission on the first Saturday of every month as a tangible thank you for voting to save the Zoo in 2004. Due to federal government and CDC restrictions for safe social distancing, the Free Saturday program has been suspended until further notice. Naples Zoo typically sees anywhere from 3,000 to 6,000 guests in a single day on Free Saturday.

Similar to the Free Saturday program, the zoo is not offering rain checks for the Collier County Appreciation Days.

Following the latest CDC guidelines, fully vaccinated guests do not have to wear a mask. For guests who are not fully vaccinated, masks are strongly encouraged inside the gift shop, on the Primate Expedition Cruise, and while feeding the giraffes.

To reserve free timed admission tickets, follow this link. The Naples Zoo recommends that guests arrive five to 10 minutes prior to their admission time. If you happen to be late, the zoo will try to accommodate you but cannot ensure that your entry will be prompt or immediate.
