The following is weekly COVID-19 vaccine, case, and death data as reported by the Florida Department of Health for Aug. 27 – Sept. 2.

FLORIDA RESIDENTS

  • 3,308,916 CASES / 46,324 DEATHS
    • up from 3,179,714 cases / 43,979 deaths
    • 129,202 new cases reported
    • 2,345 new deaths reported
  • 13,124,436 people have received at least one dose
    • up from 12,916,873
    • 207,563 new people have received at least one dose
  • 10,880,393 people are fully vaccinated
    • up from 10,785,185
    • 95,208 new people fully vaccinated

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA RESIDENTS

SWFL:

  • 195,805 CASES (deaths are no longer separated by county)
    • up from 183,756
    • 12,049 new cases reported
  • 871,940 people have received at least one dose
    • up from 858,662
    • 13,278 new people have received at least one dose

CHARLOTTE COUNTY

  • 19,889 CASES
    • up from 18,626
    • 1,263 new cases reported
  • 123,909 people have received at least one dose
    • up from 122,515
    • 1,394 new people have received at least one dose

COLLIER COUNTY

  • 50,730 CASES
    • up from 48,574
    • 2,156 new cases reported
  • 256,513 people have received at least one dose

DESOTO COUNTY

  • 6,031 CASES
    • up from 5,610
    • 421 new cases reported
