Southwest Florida is raising money for those in Louisiana experiencing the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.

Half of all sales at the rooftop bar in the Luminary Hotel in Fort Myers are going toward hurricane relief.

That money will be donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Ida fund.

Local business owner Rick Cannon was there to spend some money and give back. He donated $1,000 for Ida relief.

“Here in Southwest Florida, we get our fair share of hurricanes, so I have a lot of empathy for the people who are getting hit by it now,” Cannon said.
