CenturyLink COVID-19 testing site closed Saturday due to lightning

COVID-19 testing remains hard to come by as hospitals and urgent care centers ask the public to not go there just for testing. (CREDIT: WINK News)

According to a spokesperson, the COVID-19 testing site at CenturyLink Sports Complex closed temporarily on Saturday.

Nomi Health, who is responsible for the site at this time, said “the site is on a weather hold due to severe lightning.”

The spokesperson went on to say that Nomi Health is committed to safety so anyone who had an appointment during the closure can come back Monday through Sunday.

The site is set to resume its testing “once it is deemed safe.”
