Two people were taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after a fire tore through their mobile home in North Fort Myers.

The home on Paul Revere Loop, inside Old Bridge Village off Bayshore Road, went up in flames shortly before 7:30 a.m.

North Fort Myers Fire Control District said the home is a loss. The two people taken from the scene are “doing well.”

NFMFCD said the fire was caused by someone smoking in bed.
