Collier County man arrested for having sex with underage girl

A Collier County man was arrested after authorities said he had sex with a 14-year-old who was so intoxicated she needed to be taken to the hospital.

Alejandro Jose Dominquez, 20, was caught arguing with the 14-year-old girl outside of her home on May 20 by someone living at the house, according to an arrest warrant.

The homeowner told the girl to go inside, where she passed out due to intoxication, and sent Dominquez home.

EMS was called and the girl was taken to a hospital where she was examined for sexual assault.

She told authorities she had been sleeping with Dominquez since 2019 when she was at least 13 years old.

The two often drank together, she said.

The night of the fight, Dominquez brought Captain Morgan rum over to her house, according to the arrest warrant.

Dominquez was booked into Collier County Jail on Thursday and is being held on $51,500 bond. He faces charges of lewd or lascivious battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
