The Fort Myers Police Department arrested Lildreco Savyon Tompkins, 20, on charges of First-Degree Murder and Robbery with a Firearm in the Fiesta Food Market robbery.

Tompkins’s charges stem from his involvement in the murder of Saleh Ahmed, the owner of Fiesta Food Market that took place on May 14.

Tompkins was placed under arrest by the Fort Myers Police Department and will be transported to DeSoto County to face the listed charges.

An FMPD spokeswoman said Tompkins was arrested at a home within Fort Myers city limits along with Arcadia Police at the scene to help execute the warrant.
