Quiet start to August in the tropics

Happy Sunday, SW Florida!

A hot Sunday is ahead with highs soaring into the mid-90s, and when you factor in the humidity, it’ll feel like the triple digits!

A couple of coastal showers are expected in the morning, with all of that is shifting inland with the Gulf Breeze.

Higher rain chances return tomorrow, which will help break the heat.

The tropics are starting August on a quiet note, but don’t get used to it as things should start picking up within the next couple of weeks.
