Florida Highway Patrol vehicle. Credit: Florida Highway Patrol A 30-year-old woman was killed as she was walking along the north edge of Hunting Club Avenue in Hendry County on Thursday morning. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Clewiston man collided with the woman, of LaBelle, near the intersection of South Datil Street. The Clewiston man veered off the roadway and collided with a tree after striking the woman. The woman died on scene.
