Credit: WINK News Lee Health is reactivating its COVID-19 Incident Management Team as its hospitals deal with an increase in hospitalizations due to the virus. The system’s hospitals are caring for 130 COVID-19 patients, and the 14-day rolling average positivity rate is at 22%, which is approaching levels seen last July, Lee Health said. “In the past month, our average census of hospitalized COVID patients has risen from 30 to more than 130.” Lee Health said 89% of its hospitalized patients are not vaccinated. “Lee Health strongly urges everyone in the community get vaccinated.
