There are new legal issues for a man who is no stranger to Southwest Florida or WINK News.

We first reported about customer complaints against Chris Pascale three years ago.

The Office of the Attorney General of Florida recently filed a new lawsuit against Pascale and two of his Bonita Springs flooring businesses, claiming he broke his previous agreement with the state and hurt people financially in the process.

Bonita Springs Floor Covering Inc., Bonita Springs Floor Covering & Remodeling, LLC and Christopher Pascale are all being sued under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act.

The attorney general’s office says Pascale violated an agreement he reached with it in 2018, where he agreed to permanently refrain from making false or misleading representations to consumers, stop taking deposits or payments from consumers and provide accurate, truthful and non-misleading estimated delivery and installation times.

WINK News also reported on Pascale back then after receiving complaints of work not being completed or completed correctly.

This past March, we told you about Amy Boczer’s experience with Divine Design & Floor Covering. The Boczer’s say they spent an estimated $8,000 for what was supposed to be a one-month long project that turned into an eight-month ordeal.

“Chris is a very talented liar, and he is very, very good at what he does to sign people up and pay,” Boczer previously told WINK News. “He’s never good at the actual work.”

That’s the company the attorney general’s office now accuses Pascale of opening without its consent or knowledge and in violation of the original deal.

The state attorney general’s office is suing Pascale for more than $30,000, attorney fees and costs and full restitution for consumers. The office wants him and anyone associated with his businesses to operate ethically.

We reached out to Pascale’s business and personal numbers about this new lawsuit, but he hasn’t responded.
