A crash on the Midpoint Bridge from Cape Coral into Fort Myers left an SUV dangling over the median divider.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 5:58 a.m. after a vehicle became disabled in the eastbound lanes of the bridge.

Two other vehicles traveling east hit the disabled vehicle, causing it to overturn and come to rest partially on the concrete divider wall.

A 28-year-old Cape Coral man in the SUV suffered minor injuries.

A 58-year-old Cape Coral man in a pickup and a 23-year-old Lehigh Acres man in another pickup also suffered minor injuries.

The Florida Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of those involved in vehicle crashes, citing Marsy’s Law.
