Collier County Sheriff’s Office confirmed it’s investigating a possible animal fighting ring in Golden Gate. Investigators were called Tuesday afternoon to the 2100 block of 52nd Lane SW. CCSO said nine dogs and a rooster were taken from the property by Animal Services. Deputies also found two vehicles that were reported stolen. The investigation remains active.
