According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened on US-41 north, approaching Shores Avenue. Troopers say the woman traveled off the roadway and collided with a tree and a roadway sign. The vehicle overcorrected and overturned. No other information is known at this time. The Florida Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of people involved in traffic crashes, citing Marsy’s Law.
