Warm, breezy across SW Florida Thursday afternoon

Happy Thursday, Southwest Florida! The breeze picks up today, which should help it feel slightly cooler by the afternoon hours.

Wind will be sustained in the teens, gusting into the 20s. Wave heights will increase near the coast, too.

With warm and dry conditions the next few days, the pollen forecast will soar to high concentrations.

Thankfully, relief is on the way! Our next weather maker moves in over the weekend, with the best opportunity for rain Monday and Tuesday.

How much rain could we see? We’ll tweak these numbers as we get closer to the main event, but anywhere from 0.5″ to 1.5″ are a possibility.
