Lee County boy, father found safe in Orange County

UPDATE: Son and father Jordan and Julian Johnson were found safe in Orange County Wednesday. The investigation remains active.

A 6-year-old Lee County boy was taken by his biological father during a carjacking in North Fort Myers.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding Jordan Joshuah Johnson.

His father, Julian Johnson, 31, took Jordan at approximately 5 p.m. Sunday. The incident happened at 14180 N. Cleveland Ave., just north of Pondella Road.

Julian Johnson is believed to be driving a 2021 Black Honda Pilot bearing Florida license plate KXQL27.

Jordan Johnson can be described as a white male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 4 feet in height and weighs 50 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red shirt with a sports logo with dark blue basketball shorts.

Julian Johnson can be described as a white male with short black hair and a black beard. He is 5-feet, 10 inches in height and weighs 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing shorts and a black shirt.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert Wednesday afternoon. It’s unconfirmed at this time if this will be updated to an AMBER Alert.
