A 32-year-old motorcyclist from Lehigh Acres was killed in a crash late Saturday in south Fort Myers.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the motorcyclist was traveling east on Daniels Parkway at a high rate of speed west of Riverside Center Court when he collided with a pickup truck that slowed in front of him. He was ejected from the motorcycle. Troopers said he was not wearing a helmet.

The pickup did not stay at the scene and troopers said it’s possibly a 2014 to 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, white in color, with a missing right taillight.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to call *FHP or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS.

The Florida Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of those involved in crashes, citing Marsy’s Law.
