Credit: WINK News. A 73-year-old Fort Myers man was killed in a crash in Tice Tuesday night. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving an SUV north on New York Drive with a 66-year-old woman as a passenger around 8:45 p.m. He lost control of the vehicle, traveling onto the grass shoulder and colliding with a fence before the front of the SUV hit a tree. The man and woman were transported to Lee Memorial Hospital, where the man was later pronounced dead. The woman suffered minor injuries.
