Warm, dry start to the week across SW Florida

Happy Monday! With dry air still in place, highs will soar into the low 80s inland and upper 70s along the coastline this afternoon.

Wind stays breezy at times today. Add in low humidity and drier-than-normal conditions, we have an elevated fire danger again for parts of SWFL.

Although we slowly warm up this week, our next big weather maker arrives late Sunday and early Monday, which will bring an opportunity for rain.
