Fatal crash shut down North Tamiami Trail in North fort Myers for hours

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash in North Fort Myers.

This crash occurred after 7:30 p.m. on North Tamiami Trail near Pine Lakes Blvd in North Fort Myers.

Three cars were involved in this crash according to deputies.

All Southbound lanes of North Tamiami Trail are now back open but were shut down for hours.

All southbound lanes on North Tamiami Trail at Pine Lakes Boulevard in North Fort Myers are currently shutdown due to crash.
