(Credit: CCSO) The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people who held a Brink’s driver at gunpoint Monday afternoon. It happened at the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 2150 Tamiami Trail at about 12:15 p.m. The suspects, who were wearing face coverings, ran from the scene and deputies spent the afternoon searching the area with K-9s and aviation. Deputies say they believe the two suspects are men. If you see anything suspicious – for example, people running through backyards – call the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office at 941-639-2101. Two unidentified suspects held Brinks driver at gunpoint at the Walmart Neighborhood Mrkt at 2150 Tamiami trail. The call was rec’d at 12:14pm. Subjects fled on foot. Deputies are searching the area, including K9 and aviation. Major Crimes is on scene.
