The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a man who drove his car through a fence off I-75 in Fort Myers Tuesday morning.

A car driven by a 24-year-old Lehigh Acres man with two 23-year-old female passengers—one from Estero, the other from Fort Myers—was traveling south on I-75, south of Daniels Parkway around 1:33 a.m. According to the FHP, the driver lost control of the car, which traveled off the roadway right, collided with a fence and came to rest.

The driver ran away from the crash. Troopers investigating the incident have determined the driver’s identity. The criminal charge of leaving a crash scene with property damage is pending.
