A 20-year-old Cape Coral woman was killed in a triple shooting in Broward County on Sunday.

Alaysia Hart and one other person, whose identity was withheld, were shot at around 5 a.m. at an Exxon Gas Station in Pompano Beach, according to a news release.

Jessica Tyre is mourning her daughter’s death.

“I feel like I’m going to wake up tomorrow and she’s going to be here but I know she’s not,” Tyre said.

Tyre said her daughter was in Pompano Beach for a fun weekend with her fiancé.

“A very close friend of hers that was supposed to see her the following day told me that she was going to go to a club,” Tyre said.

Hart never made it.

Instead, she and a second victim with gunshot wounds were found near a 2013 Ford in the parking lot of the gas station at 220 S. Dixie Highway, the sheriff’s office said.

A third gunshot victim, whose identity was withheld, was found approximately one mile away at 801 S. Dixie Highway. The victim was transported to the hospital and later released.

Detectives determined the two crime scenes were connected to the same incident. Investigators believe four occupants were inside the same vehicle when an argument began, leading to shots being fired.

Detectives have a suspect but they are temporarily withholding the person’s name.

Tyre is asking people to speak up if they know what happened.

“Please just tell the truth so I can set my baby free,” she said.

Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to contact BSO Homicide Detective James Hayes at 954-321-4210. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or online at browardcrimestoppers.org.
