Two missing girls from Lehigh Acres found safe

UPDATE: According to law enforcement, the two girls have been found and are safe near the area they were reported missing.


The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two missing girls out of Lehigh Acres.

Odaly Velazquez, a 14-year-old girl, and Genesis Serrano, an 11-year-old girl were last seen in the area of 24th St SW in Lehigh Acres Thursday morning.

According to LCSO, it’s believed the two were walking but they don’t know where to.

Velasquez is 5’6″, approximately 130 lbs, with black and blue hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple sweater and black pants.

Serrano is 5’1, approximately 82 lbs, with black and red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey sweater and grey pants.
