Record heat possible across SWFL this weekend

Happy Thursday, Southwest Florida! Drier air has filtered into our region, which allows for a significant temperature swing

After starting in the 40s and 50s, highs will peak in the mid to even upper 80s this afternoon with plentiful sunshine.

Tomorrow, a stray shower will be possible as a strong southerly wind bumps up our moisture content.

With a warm and muggy air mass overhead this weekend, record heat is not out of the question. Stay cool!
