Spotty areas of rain expected ahead of Tuesday’s cold front

Published: Updated:

Happy Monday! A cold front arrives in our region tomorrow. Ahead of it, spotty rain is possible as early as today.

First we’ll see showers bubbling up this afternoon, mainly inland. This is largely influenced by a Gulf breeze and an increase in moisture locally.

The warm southerly flow will allow for highs to peak in the mid-80s today.

Next we’ll have more rain developing this evening and overnight as the weak front pushes through the southern portion of our state.

It’s not going to be much, but you’ll likely want to grab your umbrella before stepping out Tuesday morning!

Behind the front, it’ll be slightly cooler and drier tomorrow afternoon.
