Big temperature drop expected behind Friday’s cold front

Published: Updated:

Happy Thursday, Southwest Florida! We have another warm and muggy afternoon on tap as highs reach the mid-upper 80s.

The muggy meter shows just how much stickier it feels when you head out the door today.

A stray shower is possible this afternoon, mainly inland, but most areas remain dry before our next cold front arrives tomorrow.

Spotty showers are expected early with scattered storms moving in just after lunchtime. Some have the potential to become strong.

Behind the front, lows will plunge into the 40s and 50s Saturday morning. Trust WINK News the Weather Authority to keep you updated on any changes!
