Suspicious package clears Naples City Hall

A suspicious package forced Naples City Hall to be evacuated Tuesday morning.

A city council workshop was interrupted as a forensics team and bomb squad arrived to investigate.

Naples police say someone dropped off the package at the entrance to City Hall around 10 a.m. An officer already at the building cleared the area.

The investigation continues into the package’s contents.
