Credit: DOH-Lee The Florida Department of Health in Lee County has announced they will be rescheduling some first-dose vaccine appointments. Due to severe winter weather impacting the central and eastern parts of the country, there have been delays in shipping that have halted the number of first doses getting to Lee County. Therefore, first dose appointments that were previously scheduled for Wednesday, February 17 and now being rescheduled to Thursday, February 25 at the same time as they would’ve been on Wednesday. Those people who scheduled to get their second dose will still be able to get their shot. If for whatever reason, you can no longer make your first dose appointment and need to cancel, you can do so by emailing Lee-PIO@flhealth.gov.
