The Salvation Army of Charlotte County in partnership with Pit Stop Auto Repair are now offering help to those in need of vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Client eligibility will be determined upon an interview with a social worker. The Salvation Army will cover up to $250 per vehicle.

“Many of our clients depend on their vehicles for work, take kids to school, medical appointments, among many other daily tasks. As we continue to rebound from the effects of Covid-19, many individuals in our community are having to choose between basic needs and other essential services such as vehicle repairs and basic maintenance.”

“Our goal with the repair program is to maintain their vehicles in good working condition offering help with basic maintenance.

We are thankful for the support of Pit Stop Auto Repair that will benefit many in our community” said Captain Israel Roseno, Administrator for The Salvation Army.
