Pedestrian hit by vehicle, westbound SR-80 shut down in Hendry County

The Hendry County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Sunday night.

This happened on SR-80 and has caused the westbound lanes to close from Hendry to Martin streets in Hendry County.

There is also only one eastbound lane open as of 11:30 p.m.

The pedestrian victim was transported to the hospital.
