Authorities are searching for two men who stole money from a Mexican food store in south Fort Myers. (CREDIT: SWFL Crime Stoppers) Southwest Floria Crime Stoppers are asking for tips into a burglary at a Mexican food store in south Fort Myers. The crime occurred at El Corazon De Mexico, or The Heart of Mexico, on Jan. 23 at the store located at 11510 S. Cleveland Avenue. The suspects, captured on surveillance footage, broke into the store at around 3:15 a.m. and got away with about $4,000, while also causing about $1,500 in damages. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
