Wednesday marked not only President Donald Trump’s last hours in office but his final ride on Air Force One. Once landed, crowds gathered to see his motorcade drive through West Palm Beach en route to Mar-A-Lago.

In his final moment in office, President Trump spoke to a crowd. “I wish the new administration, great luck and great success. I think they’ll have great success. We love you. We will be back in some form,” President Trump said.

Just two hours later, Trump landed at Palm Beach International Airport. It marked his final flight on Air Force One. Waiting for him when he landed were flags and thousands of people hoping to catch glimpse of him.

“We love him. He is the greatest president. We want him to know how we feel about him even though he knows it, and it makes us feel good being with him,” said Melody Candiloro of Citrus County.

Signs reading “Still My President,” “Trump Won” and “President Trump Won” were lining the streets.

These signs show that people listen to every word Trump said in the months before and since the election.

WINK News Political Reporter Morgan Rynor asked some of Trump’s supporters in West Palm Beach if they would recognize Joe Biden as president. “No ma’am.” “No,” said two women. “If he had won legally, if he had won votes legally, yes.”

Frank McMahon believes the election was stolen. “I believe that the election was stolen from Trump. I believe that he did win legitimately. I don’t think that our government actually took the initiative to do right by him,” McMahon said.

How will his supporters remember him?

“All of his accomplishments. Many, many accomplishments,” Candiloro said.

Trump is now at home at Mar-A-Lago. While he did not specify what he meant when he said, “We will be back in some form,” his supporters hope that means Trump will run again.
