North Fort Myers home destroyed by fire
A home was destroyed by fire in North Fort Myers on Wednesday afternoon.
The North Fort Myers Fire Control & Rescue District responded to the blaze in the 2100 block of Twin Brooks Road, south of Bayshore Road.
There were at last two adults and two children in the home when the fire started but they all got out safely.
The home deemed a loss by investigators and a fire marshal will be working to determine the cause.
Smoke was visible from miles away.
