Missing-endangered man in Charlotte County last known to be in Polk County

Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office issued a Silver Alert for a man who is considered missing and endangered Thursday night and hopes the public can help investigators find him.

According to CCSO, 79-year-old James Bernard Pidgeon was last seen at the Gulf Cove Moose Lodge at 4212 N. Access Road in Englewood East.

Pidgeon is said to be driving a black 2007 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck with a white “Boston Strong” sticker on the right rear window, along with a white horse sticker on the left rear window.

Investigators say Pidgeon was last known to be traveling southbound on US-27 at I-4 in Polk County.
