Lee County Sheriff’s Office locates missing woman in North Fort Myers

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says a missing woman in North Fort Myers has been found and is safe.

Deputies said the woman was last seen in the area of Lakeville Drive and North Tamiami Trail in North Fort Myers.

Major crimes was called to the scene as well as the K-9 unit and the drone was deployed. The aviation unit was also called in to help search for Patel. Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies were also on scene.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office did not say how long she was missing.
