Starting at 9 a.m. Friday, Florida Department of Health – Collier County,  opened the next round of sign-ups for COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

All appointments have already been allotted.

The appointments were for Monday, Wednesday and Friday, specifically for health care workers who come into direct contact with patients and anyone 65 and older. The vaccines will be given at North Collier Regional Park.

Being on the waitlist from the last round of appointments doesn’t mean you’ve secured a spot. There is not a universal waitlist for this—you need to go back online and do it again for the next round.

The Florida Department of Health in Collier County says there is a limit of four appointments that can be scheduled per household. It will be a drive-thru vaccination site: You will sit in your car the entire time, and you are asked to not arrive any earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Everyone who gets through is asked to wear a mask and bring an ID and all necessary forms.

The county says they expect to vaccinate more people and have the process move quicker as more doses get delivered.

If you want to sign up, they are taking appointments via Eventbrite.
