Photo by AP. A newspaper delivery driver was run over and pinned by her own car in Cape Coral early Monday. The Cape Coral Police Department says the woman was working in the 3600 block of SE 21st Avenue shortly after 6 a.m. when the accident happened. Police say she thought she put the vehicle in park and got out, not realizing she had put the car in reverse. It knocked her to the ground and one of the wheels rolled over her leg, pinning her to the ground. She was trapped until a neighbor discovered her. The CCPD says the woman’s injuries are not life-threatening.
