Wrong-way driver on Alligator Alley arrested, accused of DUI

A woman was arrested in Collier County after being accused of DUI and driving the wrong way on Alligator Alley.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2019 Nissan Sport Utility Vehicle was heading the wrong way on I-75 (Alligator Alley) around 12:45 a.m.

The Nissan was heading south in the northbound lanes, at mile marker 72.

A trooper pulled over the driver, Sarah Nina Osceola, 38, of Ochopee. Osceola was arrested for driving under the influence.

Osceola was later booked into the Collier County Jail, with a blood alcohol level of 0.122 BAC. The legal limit in the State of Florida is 0.08.
