The car, driven by a 23-year-old Lehigh Acres man, was westbound on the inside lane of Daniels Parkway around 6:56 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The as-yet-unidentified bicyclist was traveling north, crossing Daniels Parkway from the median, just east of Gateway Boulevard. The front left of the car collided with man and bicycle. The man became separated from the bicycle, coming to rest on the inside lane of Daniels Parkway. Trust WINK News for updates.
