The Florida Highway Patrol says 38-year-old Danielle Himick was driving north on the interstate when she lost control of her car near mile marker 62 in eastern Collier County and struck a truck hauling gravel.

The truck overturned, spilling its load and causing the northbound lanes to be shut down for six hours.

The truck’s driver, a 53-year-old man from Miami, was not injured, nor was Himick, who was taken to the Collier County Jail on a charge of DUI.
