Check for vehicle recalls this holiday season

If you’re hitting the road for Thanksgiving, make sure you check for open recalls.

CARFAX says there could be about 16 million airbags in cars on the road with an open safety recall.

More than 11 million of those are Takata airbags.

To find out if you are driving a car with recalled airbags or a recalled car, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Safety Issues & Recalls page.

You’ll need the VIN number of your vehicle to confirm if there are any recalls.
