A Fort Myers man faces several DUI charges stemming from a crash earlier this year in Cape Coral.

Police say Mathaniel Allen Tuller was under the influence April 19 when he made a left turn on a green light and pulled into the path of an oncoming car, causing a three-vehicle crash in front of the Coralwood Mall on Del Prado Boulevard S.

Tuller was injured in the crash, as were three other people, including two children who were not restrained.

Tuller was arrested early Monday on charges of DUI causing serious bodily injury, DUI with a BAC of .15% or higher, and DUI causing property damage.

The driver of the car Tuller pulled in front of was also issued a citation for driving without a license and for the children being unrestrained in his car.

Tuller remains in the Lee County Jail.
