Changes coming to curbside meal program for Collier County students

Changes are coming to the Collier County Public School’s curbside meal service.

Free meals are provided to children 18 and under. The meals are available for both in-person and virtual students and all schools will have a curbside line for pickup. The program will run through Dec. 18.

Schools are now handing out free breakfast and lunch on Tuesday’s and Friday’s.

  • High schools: 7:30 to 8 a.m.
  • Elementary schools: 8:30 to 9:00 a.m.
  • Middle schools and Everglades City School: 9:30 to 10 a.m.
  • Immokalee High School is the only school that stays on the original schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Parents/guardians may pick up meals without their child being present provided they have a form of their child’s ID, such as a student ID badge, birth certificate, passport, government-issued child ID card, social security card or any document proving parent/guardian identity and relationship to the child.
