Naples Military Museum announces new name, facility

The Naples Military Museum announced Wednesday a new name and new development.

The new 40,000 sq.ft. Gulf Coast Museum of Military History and Veterans Advancement Center that will house over 12,000 military artifacts from the Revolutionary War to present-day conflicts.

The organization says, “It will showcase a 15,000 sqft. hangar display area for larger items such as Sherman tanks, jeeps, aircraft, larger artillery items as well as a 30 foot scaled model of the USS Florida cruise missile submarine.

There will be two (2) exterior military walk thru memorial gardens along with a 3,500 sqft. lakefront lanai (deck) area and 4,000sqft ballroom space to use as a prime location for military ceremonies, weddings, presentations, and memorial services, according to their website.
