One person was killed Tuesday morning in a crash in North Fort Myers.

The Florida Highway Patrol Troopers said the crash happened at around 8 a.m. when a car driven by an 85-year-old Cape Coral man pulled into the path of another at Diplomat Parkway and North Cleveland Avenue.

The driver was killed and his 82-year-old female passenger had minor injuries. The 73-year-old male driver of the car that struck them also had minor injuries.

The Florida Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of crash victims, citing Marsy’s Law.
