Lehigh Acres man arrested for contempt of court after Treeline Avenue vehicle crash

A Lehigh Acres man was arrested for contempt of court after a vehicle crash Thursday.

Camren Antonio Wallace, 19, was traveling south with a 16-year-old passenger in the inside lane of Treeline Avenue at noon, approaching the intersection of Global Parkway. A crane truck in front of Wallace’s sedan attempted to make a wide U-turn at the intersection.

Wallace steered toward the outside lane to avoid the truck, yet ended up colliding with its rear. The truck veered left and turned onto its side. All involved left the crash with only minor injuries.

After receiving a citation for careless driving, Wallace was arrested, being found in contempt of court for violating a domestic violence injunction.
