Lee Health in urgent need of blood donations, will hold several drives

Lee Health is in urgent need of blood donations, especially Type O. They will hold several blood drives around Lee County to help replenish their supply.

Type O+ remains critically low, and Lee Health officials say they are also below normal supply levels for all other blood types.

The Lee Health Blood Mobile will be at the following locations in October:

Oct. 14: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., City of Fort Myers, 2200 Second St., Fort Myers 33901

Oct. 15: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., City of Cape Coral, 1015 Cultural Park Blvd., Cape Coral 33990

Oct. 15: 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., NeoGenomics Laboratories, 12701 Commonwealth Dr., Suite 9, Fort Myers 33913

Oct. 16: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Cape Coral Technical College, 360 Santa Barbara Blvd. N, Cape Coral 33993

Oct. 18: 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Cypress Lake Presbyterian Church, 8260 Cypress Lake Dr., Fort Myers 33919

Oct. 18: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Chapel by the Sea, 100 Chapel St., Fort Myers Beach 33931

Oct. 19: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Lee Health Coconut Point, 23450 Via Coconut Point, Bonita Springs 34135

Oct. 21: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Cape Coral Yacht Club, 5815 Driftwood Pkwy, Cape Coral 33904
